The Mosquito Lagoon is a famous body of water near Titusville Florida. We travel to the lagoon pretty often, as it is just a little over an hour ride North of Ft. Pierce. If you are looking for big redfish and lots of them this is your place. The Lagoon has clear water with sandy bottom and turtle grass, which provides a year-round excellent habitat for redfish and large sea trout. The Lagoon is a sight fishing paradise!!
When things slow down along the Treasure Coast or the weather isn’t cooperating, we head to the Lagoon. You can expect to see a lot of tailing fish at different times of the year. Large schools of slot sized fish (18-27”) and larger are common in the summer and fall. There are also some schools of giant redfish year-round in the lagoon. Fish in the thirty pound class are not uncommon.
Most of our Mosquito Lagoon trips are day trips, we will pick you up and you can travel with us. Lodging can be provided for multiple day trips.
